[WORKSHOP] Discover Pecha Kucha

in partnership with lESEG NETWORK

The Pecha Kucha method, also known as the 20 x 20 technique , is a creative, dynamic and original methodology invented by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham.t was invented by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham, two Tokyo-based architects fed up with boring, inefficient meetings...

Meaning "chatter" and "sound of conversation" in Japanese, Pecha Kucha became popular in the early2000s, and is a way of presenting an idea, a theme, a product, a service or a project over a very limited and precise period of time:6mn 40sec no more, no less.

This technique combines a short oral presentation that must be synchronized with the projection of 20 images (or slides) that follow one another automatically every 20 seconds.

Simple on the surface, it's a demanding technique which, if you master and apply it well, can be extremely effective in saving time and making an impact on your audience.

This method is based on4 main pillars:

  • The spirit of synthesis
  • creativity
  • Dynamism :
  • Fluidity :

This workshop will introduce you to the essential steps you need to follow to create an impactful Pecha Kucha presentation.

At the end of this workshop, you will have learned to :

  • focus on the important messages to deliver,
  • be synthetic,
  • prepare your presentations well,
  • develop your creativity,
  • improve your public speaking skills!

What a great program! J

To take part in this remote workshop, you'll need sheets of paper, a few Post-It notes, pencils or pens and, above all, a good mood! The idea is, as the Pecha Kucha says, to work efficiently but have fun at the same time!

This workshop organized by the Pôle Carrière of IÉSEG Network will take place remotely onApril 12 at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

The link to the workshop will be sent to you the day before or the morning of the event.
