URIS/S.F.E.N. Hauts de France Conference
Global warming, a major risk for the future of humanity
A look at the contrasting situations worldwide with regard to these emissions.
France in the global concert and the European framework
France has made some very ambitious commitments with regard to climate risk.
To do so, it has indisputable assets and the skills to play a major industrial role. But it will only do so if it can demonstrate its ability to rapidly propose effective solutions that are economically and socially sustainable. Without gas, oil and coal, it must be able to rely on sustainable, controlled domestic energy sources, integrating the renewable energies best suited to its geography, and boosting its energy efficiency.
Is the current law on energy transition appropriate and sustainable? The question must be asked.
