Connected agricultural weather to cope with the consequences of climate change

A mild winter with late spring frosts and a summer marked by heatwaves and severe drought had a considerable impact on crops and their yields.
What resources are now available to help farmers cope with the increasing number and severity of meteorological hazards?
Created in 2016 in Lille, start-up Sencrop has developed weather stations to be installed directly on the plot, connected to an agricultural weather application. Celle-ci makes it possible to monitor past, present and future ultra-local data, so as to better organize its interventions, and to act at the right time thanks, for example, to agronomic indicators and alerts.
