What is CitronCoco?

Olivier, Nathan, Justin and I (Ugo) are 4 friends from the same engineering school: JUNIA ISEN Lille.

In 2017, during our final year of study, we are working on the creation of a board game: CitronCoco. This game, which combines memory, speed and cooperation, embodies our values of sharing, mutual aid and openness to others .

Alongside this project, as soon as we graduated, we felt the urge to help, to move, to feel useful as engineers, of course, but also as human beings.

We then set up a 2-month international volunteer mission to help the Bernhard Nordkamp Center (BNC), a reception and tutoring center for children aged 8 to 15 living in Katutura, an underprivileged district of the Namibian capital (Windhoek).

On the strength of these 2 experiences and the very positive feedback we received on the game and our mission, we decided to design and market CitronCoco and to donate part of the profits to our association ASBNC.to donate part of the profits to our association ASBNC, whose aim is to continue supporting BNC in the longer term by sending young people on civic service to the area.

To keep in step with our values, we've chosen to self-publish and want the game to be made in France .

Today, CitronCoco is as much an atmospheric board game as it is an educational tool (learning to memorize, count, cooperate) that accompanies us on our school visits. It's also an excellent competitive game, as well as a great team-building tool for transmitting values such as sharing, mutual aid and benevolence.
