Benoît Cambier appointed Chairman of Junia's Board of Directors

Benoit Cambier is appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of JUNIA, the leading engineering school for transitions.

"Officially appointed at the last General Meeting of the JUNIA Association, Benoit Cambier will take up his new post on Tuesday February 20, 2024. He will assume the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, while ensuring the day-to-day management of the Association. He succeeds Amaury Flotat, Chairman of the Association since June 2018.


A graduate of EDHEC business school, Benoit Cambier has held various management positions, notably between 1997 and 2011 with the PPR Group, now Kering, including CEO of Bernard SA, DG of JPG.SA, then CEO of Daxon Movitex. In 2012, he embarked on an entrepreneurial career, buying out a company through an LBO, an activity he pursued until 2022.


Attached to the values of La Catho, Benoit Cambier cultivates a keen interest in the world of education and higher education, and in 2022 joined the Université Catholique de Lille as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Fondation de la Catho de Lille.


"As a salaried executive in a large group and then as an entrepreneur, I have always strived to combine economic performance with social harmony. Now young and retired, and keen to put myself at the service of a great project, I'm delighted to commit myself to JUNIA, an association of 3 schools (JUNIA HEI, JUNIA ISA and JUNIA ISEN) with a rich history attached to the values of the North of France, and some great student success stories," explains Benoit Cambier, new Chairman of JUNIA."
