[CONFERENCE] Hydrogen: from atom to green energy! (Organized by IESF Hauts de France)
Organized by IESF Hauts de France
As part of the JNI 2021, IESF Hauts-de-France invites you to the webinar by Jean-Paul Reich
Hydrogen: from the atom to green energy!
Water will be the coal of the future" Jules Verne, Ile Mystérieuse 1874
A fascinating, technical and topical subject. An opportunity to take stock of the uses of hydrogen in society, and the technical and economic issues they raise.
France plans to invest 7 billion euros in a hydrogen deployment plan.
Currently used in industry, this gas is mainly derived from hydrocarbons, in particular natural gas, resulting in significant CO2 emissions. The technical and economic challenge is to produce differently to reduce environmental impact.
Gain a better understanding of the origin of resources and the methods used to produce, store and transport them. Get an update on technological developments.
Discover possible uses and recoveries. Understand the technical, financial and environmental challenges that hydrogen poses for the future.
Jean-Paul Reich, energy consultant, hydrogen specialist.
An Arts & Métiers engineer, Jean-Paul Reich spent his career in the gas industry, first with GDF, then as Scientific Director at Engie.
He led an ambitious research program on "Power to gas" and hydrogen. He sits on a number of international scientific
and was vice-president of the French Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (Afhypac).
(Afhypac).
