Rendezvous H - Visit of Peignage Dumortier
Cédric AUPLAT (1996) and HEI ALUMNI invite you to visit PEIGNAGE DUMORTIER in Tourcoing on Thursday October 10 at 7:30 pm.
Originally specialized in wool combing, the company switched entirely to synthetic fibers in the 1960s. Today, the company has adapted its processes to all textiles, including technical textiles.It's the only company in Europe to combine all these know-hows, and it's the one and only combing company in France!
Program :
- 19h30 : In a 30-minute presentation, Cédric will tell you about the company he took over last year, how the takeover audit went, the company's strengths and weaknesses, the negotiations with the Commercial Court and the implementation of the Transformation Plan.
- 8:00 pm: You will then have the opportunity to visit the factory and see the machines in operation: Framing with fiber loading, ribbon creation, ribbon reinforcement; Drawing; Combing; Converting; Packaging.
- The evening continues with a cocktail reception in the bar-restaurant Au 283.
