Rouen Art and Cinema Tour
Maxime Lhoir (2013), Bernard Phalempin (1973) and HEI Alumni propose a brand-new outing to Normandy!
Join us on Saturday February 1st at 10 a.m.
for a guided tour of "Art et Cinéma : les liaisons heureuses" (Art and Cinema: happy liaisons)
at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rouen.
The tour will be followed by a meal at the Cocorico restaurant.
The exhibition:
In partnership with La Cinémathèque Française.
Cinema comes to the museum! The first exhibition of its kind to be organized in France, Arts et Cinéma: les liaisons heureuses shows the links between cinema and the other arts, and their reciprocal influences. A chronological tour combining film extracts, painting, sculpture, photography, posters, drawings and models, will enable visitors to appreciate the relationships that 20th-century artists have forged with the art of moving images.

9:45 am: meet in front of the Musée des Beaux-Arts
10am: start of guided tour
11:30am: Departure for Cocorico restaurant, 107 Allée François Mitterrand, 76100 Rouen.
