Appointments - Olivier de Fontgalland (HEI 1996) appointed General Manager of French subsidiary

Olivier de Fontgalland (HEI 1996) is appointed Managing Director of the French subsidiary, replacing Frank Schulze.

Renishaw SAS, the French subsidiary of British manufacturer Renishaw, specialists in precision measurement and 3D probes in particular, has appointed Olivier de Fontgalland as its new Managing Director.

He succeeds Frank Schulze, who is continuing his career with Renishaw France, and is now Technical Director.

A graduate of Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur (HEI), Olivier de Fontgalland worked for 12 years at Panasonic Industrial Europe, first as a sales engineer, then as sales manager and key account manager, before taking over as head of the French sales office in 2008, then as sales manager for Europe and head of the French branch two years later.

In 2012, he joined ABB as Sales Director and Local Business Unit Manager, before moving to Ingersoll Rand in 2016 as Compressed Air Business Director for France and North-West Africa.
